Our Rating System
When we first launched this site, our goal was to provide purely objective analysis of AI tools: breaking them down by features, pricing, and performance without adding personal judgment. Over time, though, we found that including our own ratings helped viewers better understand how each tool performs in real-world use.
Even with the addition of ratings, we remain committed to honesty and neutrality. Every score we give is based on careful testing, comparison, and clear criteria. We don’t inflate numbers for marketing or partnerships. These ratings are here to guide you, not to sell you something.
Added Value
This rating considers how much practical value you get for the price. It looks at the tool’s paid features compared to what you could get for free, and whether its pricing structure makes sense. Tools with flexible plans and meaningful upgrades score higher, while overpriced or redundant features bring the score down.
Content Quality
This is about the quality of the output—whether that’s text, images, video, or ideas. It’s based on how polished, accurate, and usable the content is. We also consider consistency and whether the tool delivers results that meet or exceed expectations for its category.
Originality
Here we assess how unique the tool is. Does it offer features or combinations you can’t find elsewhere? Is it solving a problem in a new way, or just replicating what others already do? Tools that bring something new to the table score higher.
User Experience
This rating reflects how easy and pleasant the tool is to use. It includes things like interface design, onboarding, stability, and whether users can access or cancel plans without confusion. We also note any consistent usability issues or support problems.
Subjective Score
This flexible category allows us to factor in context. Every AI tool serves a slightly different purpose, and this rating reflects our overall impression based on what we think is most important for that specific product. It gives us space to highlight niche strengths or important limitations that might not show up in the other scores.
